The Board of Directors is the ultimate decision-making body of the Chamber and the primary force leading it to advance the commercial, industrial, and professional interests of Pleasant Hill—and to serve Chamber members.
Directors establish direction and policy, promote and actively lead the Chamber, serve as a liaison to the community, and ensure its continued vitality while avoiding conflicts of interest.
Serve as an ambassador, promote a positive image of the Chamber, and actively seek to expand membership.
Attend Board meetings, offer input, take leadership roles on committees, and participate in Chamber events and fundraisers.
Act as a contact between the community and the Chamber and help address concerns affecting members.
Assess the Chamber’s environment, monitor financials and leadership, and review compliance with relevant laws.
Consider, draft, and adopt policies that keep the Chamber efficient and effective.
