Our Community
The city of Pleasant Hill, Iowa was incorporated May 12, 1956. At the conclusion of the 2024 special census, the population was 11,079 and we are 4th fastest growing city in the Des Moines Metro area.

It’s that time again! Your Pleasant Hill Firefighters Association is firing up the griddles for our Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, October 11, 2025!

Come hungry, leave happy! 🥓🥞 They will be serving up fluffy pancakes, sizzling sausage links, and plenty of hot syrup — all made better by good company and a firehouse full of friendly faces.
This is your chance to grab breakfast, catch up with neighbors, and spend the morning with the firefighters who proudly serve Pleasant Hill.
