Our Community
The city of Pleasant Hill, Iowa was incorporated May 12, 1956. At the conclusion of the 2024 special census, the population was 11,079 and we are 4th fastest growing city in the Des Moines Metro area.

Sunrise Park Mini-Pitch Ribbon Cutting
Come celebrate the grand opening of our Mini-Pitch along with Pro Iowa Soccer! The Mini-Pitch is a multi-use sport court at Sunrise Park and grand opening festivities will include:
> Bounce Houses, mini-games, prizes, exhibition games, and more!
Schedule:
1-2 PM Exhibition games (coordinated by PH Soccer Club)
2 PM Ribbon cutting
2:30 PM Mini-games with Pro Iowa Soccer
3 PM Teqball table demonstration
