Our Community
The city of Pleasant Hill, Iowa was incorporated May 12, 1956. At the conclusion of the 2024 special census, the population was 11,079 and we are 4th fastest growing city in the Des Moines Metro area.

Rising Sun Church of Christ: Live Nativity

This year, they will have elaborate sets based on scenes in the Bible, live actors and animals, and tasty treats! Bring out the whole family and drive through the nativity anytime between 5:30pm and 8:00pm.
