Our Community
The city of Pleasant Hill, Iowa was incorporated May 12, 1956. At the conclusion of the 2024 special census, the population was 11,079 and we are 4th fastest growing city in the Des Moines Metro area.

Join us for an uplifting evening with Dr. Heidi Warner (as heard on Life 107.1) as we explore how to help kids and teens see themselves with confidence and truth. This workshop takes a balanced approach, combining a healthy mental mindset with a biblical worldview, to help families nurture lasting self-worth and God-centered identity.
This free community event is open to anyone who cares for kids and teens. Childcare provided for those who preregister.
About Dr. Heidi
Dr. Heidi is a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized training in postpartum depression and anxiety, eating disorders, and spiritually integrated therapy. Her passion is working with individuals (children, adolescents and adults), couples and families who struggle with a wide variety of mental illnesses and unhealthy relationship dynamics to help them find hope and healing through spiritually integrated therapy.
Dr. Heidi believes that a strong understanding of each client as a multi-faceted individual with a unique story has to be the basis for an effective therapeutic relationship. With this understanding as the foundation, she works hard to provide empirically validated treatments in a manner that facilitates personal and spiritual growth.
