Our Community
The city of Pleasant Hill, Iowa was incorporated May 12, 1956. At the conclusion of the 2024 special census, the population was 11,079 and we are 4th fastest growing city in the Des Moines Metro area.

Community Night at Northbridge Event Center
Before the test booklets open, we fill the room with encouragement.
Community members are invited to stop in during the event and write short notes to high school students across the Des Moines area as they head into state exams. Messages that say you have got this. We are proud of you. Take a deep breath.
